If they can just pick up a couple more here, the Sox will be in trouble given Ortiz is out . . .

I'm only half-watching now.  Someone is singing "G-d Bless America." I never knew there was half-time in baseball. Good voice though.

Sang god bless america.  It was the seventh inning stretch.  That song has now replaced "take me out to the ballgame" on tv since 9/11.

At least Bailey is from Denver, unlike Carrie Underwood, who is from American Idol on Fox, which chooses the singer for the national anthem.

The Rockies are always so quick to give credit for a win to God.

Like the comedian said, just once I'd like to see a press conference where the athletes explain they did all they could, but God just didn't come through with the clutch play when they needed it so they lost.

If you give credit for one, seems only fair to give credit for both. ;)

Is God really a baseball fan? (none / 0) (#14)

It's bad enough to claim God as your ally in a war.  But in a professional sporting event?  Please!

Go Sox!  Victory to the Heathens!
