Via the National Journal: Captured on video in March (about 1:50 in):

Questioner: "If you were the chief executive of New York, what would your response be to the attorney general of the United States deciding to hold terrorist trials in New York?"

Paladino: "F*** him. F*** him."

His audience laughed.

will vote for him according to the polls.

NY deserves what it will get.

After all, insanity is sometimes defined as doing the same thing over and over while expecting a different result.

    Hey, there's still 3 weeks to go..he can easily (5.00 / 1) (#5)

responsible for running off "sane" candidates
    over the past years?

We haven't arrived in our present condition in just this election cycle.

and Cuomo is the candidate for that brand of insanity...beats Carl's brand though!  It may be stupidity to expect different from an entrenched party member, but it isn't black-hearted ugly and stupid like Crazy Carl's train.

Kristin Davis is the only sane choice, or any of the other also-rans:)

do you think that the people of New York should vote for this idiot? What a freaking embarrassment. The GOP was in full apologia mode for this guy this morning making it sound like all Christians are this whacked out.

Repub party-liners...aka 30-40% of NY State.  At least Cuomo has the humanely insane vote locked up, 58-68% of NY State.

Pity too because I'd love to vote for a relatively sane monkeywrench who isn't a total fraud with a half-prayer of winning...alas Kristin Davis it is, but good for only 2% or so:)

The only legit successful private business person in the race, fwiw.  Carl is on the dole bigger than big time...Kristen, otoh, ran a sucessful private business with government hinderance instead of assistance.

which will be tested severely if he does win in November:

    From esquire(dot)com:

    Andrew Cuomo:

My father would answer the phone with that Queens tough-guy voice: Yup, yup. So I would answer the phone "Yup." And Breslin would be on the other end, and I would say "Yup" and he would just start [does Breslin growl]: "That SOB Lindsay, motherf*cker, this effin' bastard," and he would go on and on, and like four minutes later I would say, "Oh, Mr. Breslin, you must want my father...."

"You little f*cker!" he'd say. Click.

but he is doing damage with every appearance by legitimizing the whacked out right wing hate he is spewing.  and he is doing it coincidentally at exactly the time when NYC is dealing with some of the most ugly hate related crimes against gays in years.

    great.
